Hi, I’m Wren, a self-published author from England with three self-published books under my belt (so far).As an indie author, I have worked closely with my chosen editors, which has allowed me a deeper insight into the process, aiding me in my own self-editing. Because I also fund all of my own projects, I often take on the proofreading of my own work.I know how incredibly difficult it can be at times to fund your own writing endeavours, and so I am offering my own proofreading services in the hopes of both building my own confidence, and helping other low-income authors meet their goals and prepare for publication.My interest is primarily in fiction, and though I am mostly drawn to fantasy and horror I will accept other genres. LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent authors and stories are of particular interest to me, as I myself am queer and autistic.Proofreading is considered the final stage in the editing of a book, but it is very common for errors, no matter how small, to slip through the cracks and go unnoticed, so as your proofreader I aim to carefully review your work for errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation (I will also flag up anything else that may be amiss).With less experience than others in the field, I hope to build my experience by offering low cost services, as well as opening up my first two slots for free.
